3 Day FIRST AID AT WORK NUCO FAA LEVEL 3 AWARD – 22/23/24th April
Course Info
The course is designed for First Aiders wanting to enhance their skills or those working in a higher-risk environment. This is a fun, interactive course. NUCO FAA Level 3 Three First Aid Certificate is awarded upon successful completion.

- Give effective treatment

- Deal with life-threatening bleeds

About the Course (Implementation/Impact)
Who is this course for?
This course is designed for anyone who works in a higher-risk environment i.e kitchen, building site, factory etc or who just wants to enhance their basic skills.
Previous knowledge/experience: No previous knowledge or experience needed.
- What you will learn: Duties of a first aider and the law, Primary Survey, Secondary Head to Toe Survey, CPR in Adults and Children, Defibrillator, Causes or Unconsciousness, Burns, Wounds and Bleeding, Fractures and Dislocations, Spinal Injuries, Life-threatening Bleeds, Anaphylaxis, Poisons, Record Keeping.
- How you will learn: Practical Sessions, PowerPoint, Discussions, Quiz.
- How you will be assessed: Practical Primary/Secondary Survey and CPR Assessment. Wounds Assessment and a Short multiple choice test paper at the end of day 3.
- Spoken and Written English Language skills are required, ability to perform tasks on the floor. Reasonable adjustments will be made but must be able to perform CPR.
For this course, you will need to buy/bring:
- Pen and a note book.
