EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK NUCO FAA LEVEL 3 AWARD 4th April

Aim (Intent) of the Course:  This 1 Day First Aid Course teaches you the skills and the knowledge that will give you the confidence to deal with an emergency situation, common injury or ailment.

The course is designed for novice or experienced First Aiders who what to brush up with the latest updates. This is a fun, interactive course. NUCO FAA Level 3 Three First Aid Certificate is award upon successful completion.

• Assess and prioritise casualty needs
• Give effective treatment
• Help to assist Emergency Services
• Identify Life-threatening conditions
• Record and Report incident

About the Course (Implementation/Impact)

Who is this course for?

This course is designed for anyone who works in a low-risk environment i.e shop/office or who just wants to just learn some basic skills in how to save a life.

Previous knowledge/experience: No previous knowledge or experience needed.

• What you will learn: Duties of a first aider and the law, Primary Survey, CPR in Adults and Children, Defibrillator, Causes or Unconsciousness, Burns, Wounds and Bleeding, Fractures and Dislocations, Record Keeping.
• How you will learn: Practical Sessions, PowerPoint, Discussions, Quiz.
• How you will be assessed:  Practical Primary Survey and CPR Assessment. Short multiple choice test paper at the end of the day.
• Spoken and Written English Language skills are required

For this course, you will need to buy/bring:

• Pen and a notebook.
